At the prestigious feria of the Pitti Bimbo in Florence, Sieglinde de Plas, designer of the Dino e Lucia brand, is the charming and ideal ambassador to present her retro chic version of the tuxedo combi-shorts hand-embroidered with rhinestones outlining a large art deco motif, worn with or without a belt.

The buyers came from around the world to discover this collection and the Dino e Lucia show room was buzzing with flattering comments in Russian, English, Italian and Spanish ….

En la prestigiosa feria del Pitti Bimbo en Florencia, Sieglinde de Plas, la creadora de la marca Dino e Lucia, es la Ambajadora encantadora ideal para presentar su versión retro chic del conjunto short smóking bordado a mano con pedrería, dibujando un amplío diseño art déco, llevado con o sin cinturón.

Las compradoras venían de todo el mundo para descubrir esta colección y el show room Dino e Lucia zumbaba con comentarios elogiosos en ruso, inglés, italiano y español….

An Art Deco spirit floats over the SPRING SUMMER 12 collection, inspired by the geometric lines of embroidery and the stylisation of patterns, peacock feathers, flower petals… Added to this, there are a few nods to the great Parisian couturiers that have been prominent in recent decades.

The bright orange and fuchsia colours light up the summer dresses and are combined cheerfully with indigo and white, which are highly visible, or with softer colours such as pearl grey and powder pink.

The “daytime” line is growing in size: the models are easy to wear, the prices are attractive, and there is the detail that changes everything – like a strip of lace on a jersey dress, a “raw finish” in chiffon silk at the neckline of a T-shirt, or tiny strass on the pockets and the yoke of a combi pantsuit…

A must for this summer, a lace line, romantic and trendy, which is also available for taller girls, in wraparound, top, dresses…

On the subject of “city chic”, a small line in pin stripes: spencer, a dress with pockets with a Courrèges spirit and combi shorts.
… And for the high summer, a nod to the 70s with a flowing line cut in a printed cotton and silk fabric with small orange and fuchsia motifs: combi pantsuit, combi shorts, a strappy dress and even a long bohemian chic dress…

The dresses of the “eveningwear” line are made in the finest, precious fabrics that are favoured by the brand (crepe, silk satin, chiffon, georgette, tulle…), vying for supremacy in elegance: embroidery, lace,  strass, beads, sequins, mini ruffles, a combination of fabrics… Available in different colours from the range – a superb orange silk has made an appearance – most of the dresses are available in white to create a true “white chic” line.

The cuts are impeccable; sometimes refined to highlight the ornamentation work or the hand stitched embroidery: the bustier dress – with removable straps – makes an appearance for the delight of teenagers.

The sequin is revisited in a decidedly original form with more rock and roll and modern forms: squared, rounded, layered, large or tiny, contrasting or of a matching tone; the geometric shapes are designed in a very thirties way, which mixes in beads for a Chanel-style touch, or comes with large camellia patterns over the whole ultra-glamorous dress…
